Array Simulations and Thermal Setbacks

So I've been trying to simulate a bunch of tests on my laptop so that I can verify our chip before me and Liping lay it out. However, the tests take a long time, and need to write to the hard disk a bunch. This causes a lot of excess heat on my laptop. And it died probably 90% into it. This is horrible because it takes probably 3 hours to successfully simulate. Now I have to babysit it and make sure it stays cool.

I need a new laptop.
