The Grand Unified Theory of Documents

So I have several computers in my life. I have my mediacenter/gamestation in my living room. I have Jessica's laptop which I borrow sometimes when I go to the library. And I even have my workstation in lab at school. The trouble with all this is that I find it hard to find the correct documents sometimes. I basically try to separate where I keep certain things, so that stuff is more organized. I could carry around a USB key all over the place with all my crap on it. But that doesn't seem like it would work.

So the solution I am trying now is to put all my new work on
Google Docs . So far, I've used it for several spreadsheets, and this worked great. I'm finally trying the "word document" portion of the suite, and so far so good. I'm not using this for any heavy duty stuff yet, but to take notes, and keep things in a centralized location, it has worked wonders.
