Charch's Wedding

So this memorial day weekend, I went up to Big Bar CA. A place in the middle of nowhere between Eureka and Redding on highway 299. My good friend Mike Charcho was getting married to his longtime girl Patricia. Lucky me, I was asked to be in the wedding party. So I went up and got a hotel room in Redding along with Lee and Austin.

Day 1

Saw Posiedon in Davis. Was actually pretty good. Drove up to Redding, drank at some bar across the street from the Holiday Inn, and got offered cocaine within 4 hours of arriving.

Day 2

Went to the wedding site for a rehearsal that never happened. Got to move over 70 pounds of beef and 6 turkeys. Hung out with Charcho, the Gludts and Lee for the day. Aaron ended up getting me drunk so I had to stay for several hours longer than expected to sober up for the drive back to Redding.

Day 3

Went to the wedding several hours early for a rehearsal that also never happened. Got assigned to shucking corn and wrapping them up for cooking. Ended up smoking it up for the first time in a long long time with Mike so as to celebrate his achievement. The best part of the day was that I got to wear this awesome Fabio shirt along with the other groomsmen. Speaking of which, it was a renaissance themed wedding. Sago made quite a racket screaming about getting booze on his jersey, which was quite hilarious. After lots of delays, the wedding went off without a hitch. I'm happy I was there.

Day 4
Drove back to Davis. Bought groceries.
