Once again, Brian has ruined my life, for better or for worse? He made me watch a couple episodes of this anime called Beck. Its basically about a boy who joins a band. Now me liking music AND anime, I couldn't resist after those couple of episodes. I finished the rest of the series (all 26 episodes) in about 4 days. Whats really cool in the anime is the music. Some of it is kinda J-Popish, but other things are very American sounding. I like all the use of "Engrish" in the series. I even learned to play some songs from the series. I can see why Brian said that it made him want to learn to play the guitar. After watching it I got up off my ass, went to Watermelon Music and bought guitar stuff, then went home and finally fixed the action/truss rod setup on my electric guitar. It sounds very sweet now. Its amazing how much better I sound with a guitar that doesn't go out of tune depending on the chords I use.
