Ok. This was a complete impulse buy. I saw a deal for an acoustic guitar for $40 at www.MusiciansFriend.com. So I jumped on it. I also got a nice gig bag (the cheap ones were sold out), and a cheap stand for it. Its all shipped to me for 88 big ones. Not bad. However, I'm skeptical of the quality of this guitar. I bet it will warp or something within a year. However, I'll still be very happy to have it if I ever go on that road trip me and vo keep talking about.
Another buy which isn't so much an impulse for me will be possibly buying a bass guitar and amp once summer comes along. I want to have a complete jam session available at my tips. I already got the guitar and drums, so why not add the bass? If my current impulse buy goes through nicely, I'll probably order from the same place cuz they have some awesome deals. Anyways... chow... mein.
