Great Films

I think the test of a truly great movie is if it gets better after repeated viewings. I just watched Fight Club again for some background noise while I was doing some work. This movie really gets better every time I watch it. Its moving right up along in my top ten list. The ending of the movie is very memorable, right down to the Pixies "Where Is My Mind" playing in the background. The concept, although probably not original, is executed perfectly. And last but not least, the actors are great in it. Well all it really needed to be great was Edward Norton, but Brad Pitt does a good job in it as well. And I didn't realize this before, but Helena Bonham Carter is in it as well. Turns out shes in lots of great movies, and I never really knew who she was. Anyways, I just had to point out how awesome some movies are when you can watch them repeatedly and admire how they are put together. Trainspotting is my favorite example of this. I could watch that movie on a loop I think its so great.

Current Mood : Sad that I have to go to school tomorrow.
Current Music : My Drumming :)

I know another movie like that. It involves certain backdoors that may or may not lead to Russia.
