Jobby Job

So looks like I didn't get the TA appointment that I wanted. I thought for sure I'd get one. I mean, I have taken about half the classes that were offered this quarter, I got some sort of A in all those, and whats more, I've taken them from this school, and am a native english speaker. So looks like I need a real jobby job to help pay for my education.

What irritates me is that while setting up some computers for the professors in the CS department, a new grad student came to talk to the professor about using MaxPlus. He told her that she could talk to either me or this other guy in support for a tutorial on how to use it. So this incoming grad student got a position having not used any of the software for the class she is supposed to help teach. Whereas I don't get a position when I know exactly how to use the stuff and what student's problems are gonna be. I guess the world isn't fair.

I can't continue my slack job starting next week, since I'll be a full fledged grad student. Kinda sucks.
