Shred Masterclass

So I cruise over to www.ultimate-guitar.com every once in a while to read the forums and check out the music news they have there. One of the cool things they have is columns by people every once in a while. A favorite of mine is Kristopher Dahl's Shred Masterclass column. He basically is a swedish dude who shreds on the guitar and has video lessons online. Every single one of his lessons has been very informative to me over the past year or so. This leads to me finally purchasing a membership at his website, GuitarMasterClass.com where I hope to get better at the guitar since I've been pretty stagnant since sophmore year of college. About the only thing that I have gotten better at since then is C-A-G-E-D scales/improvisation, and playing artificial harmonics (not to be confused with the regular version where you simply lightly touch a string over certain frets).

I also have to re-setup my guitar. I hear some buzzing, which should not be happening. However, I'm kinda lazy, and it doesn't really matter much to me when I have loads of distortion on usually anyways. So that will probably wait till I get around to finishing up my other guitar projects.

Anyways, I'll let peeps know if this membership is worth it. In 3 months, if I have improved immensely I'll give it the thumbs up.

Current Mood : Shreddin'
